Behind the lens...
Hi Yall!! So glad you're here! I'm the face behind the lens. My name is Teressa. I'm from New Hope, AL but live in Guntersville, AL. I have been doing photography since 2006. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I started Sassy SnapShots combining my modeling background, creativity, my love for photography, and my love to meet new people. I love every aspect of photography from meeting clients to the editing process. My sessions are filled with tons of personality, color and lots of fun!
My work has been published in Land & Lake, The Sand Mountain Reporter, Albino Beauty, and other magazines and newspapers. I have worked with modeling agencies and local businesses.I have been a speaker twice for a photography meet and greet. I won 2011, 2016, and 2021 Best Photographer voted by the readers’ choice.2017 and 2021 Best Wedding Photographer voted by the readers’ choice.
I have been blessed with lots of love from my supporters and I am thankful for that. God has blessed me in so many ways and I'm very thankful.
My favorite things >>>My husband and best friend and biggest supporter, Matt. We have been friends since 2011 and we’ve been inseparable since 2017 and couldn’t be happier.
Fergie, our four-legged baby. She thinks she’s a human. She's almost 12 years young and loves to play and cuddle.
My Family. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for my family. I have amazing children; I have 2 beautiful granddaughters and 2 silly grandsons. I've been blessed with the best parents. I’m very close to my family and I’m very thankful for them. My children, parents, and my husband have helped me by assisting me at weddings and shoots and 2nd shooting. Also helping make the kids giggle so I can focus on the perfect shot.
Things I value;GOD, family, simple living, kindness, compassion, strong women, small businesses, coffee, my fur baby, dance, healthy lifestyle, traveling, and connecting with people.
Side Note - I'm also a Health Coach, certified in Yoga, Ballet Barre, HIIT, Meditation, and 2 nutrition programs. NASM Nutritionist in training.
